What makes
Palolem unique is the laid back atmosphere and the local Goan charm which you
can experience both through its people as through its cuisine and landscapes.
This is a very beautiful beach are in India, which is unique because of Goa’s
unique history, which is of course peppered by Portuguese influences. Nowadays you
can enjoy everything Goa has to offer and choose from a very wide range of
accommodation in Palolem.
The most
traditional type of Palolem accommodation is of course beach huts. This was the
first type of accommodation built specially for tourists to appear on this
amazing Goan beach. Now there is even a huge variety of beach huts to choose
from. Some of the beach huts in Palolem even have hot showers and baths, and
air conditioning, amongst other luxuries. Others are more in touch with nature
and basically just consist of a bamboo constructed shack with a roof over head.
They attract tourists and travelers the world over, who come yearning to spend
some time staying right in the sand, sporting just their swim suits and bare
feet. But over the years the accommodation in Palolem has adapted to cater for
families and more demanding customers who want to stay in a beach hut without

from Palolem, through Columb and eventually arrive at Patnem. Or you can take a

different atmosphere to Palolem.
